I’ve had a really exciting year.  I graduated Pre-K, turned 5 years old, and began going to Kindergarten.  I’ve been really good this year and am trying hard to listen.  My daddy has been taking me hunting most every weekend and I really look forward to that.  I’ve really enjoyed playing with my little sisters but they sure do like taking my toys.  Maybe you can bring them some toys of their own so they will leave mine alone.

I love hunting, riding my bike and/or scooter, playing outside, and playing with my Legos.  Thanks for the cool toys you gave me last year – I still play with them.  I really want some more Legos!  I also love super heroes and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.   I had asked for a dirt bike and a tractor with a trailer (for hauling hay) for Christmas but my momma said those would have to wait until I’m much older.

Thanks for sending your elf to watch over me.  I named him Wild Child (my daddy’s CB handle) and hope he’s giving you good reports every night.  I’ll be sure to leave you plenty of milk and cookies.

I turned 1 this year!  I had a big birthday and really enjoyed having so many friends and family celebrate my 1st birthday this year.  I learned to walk this year and I am all over the place.  Most recently, I’ve learned to climb on the couch as well as various other pieces of furniture, including the rocker in my room.  I love playing with my big brother and taking his toys.  His toys are much better than mine.  I’ve also taught my sister, Grace, to climb.  She watches me first to make sure it’s okay, then after a few tries, she climbs right up on the furniture with me.  We sit and laugh because we’re so happy about our new trick.  I really like baby dolls and enjoy rocking them.  I also love shoes and playing with my shape sorter toys, pots and pan, and Tupperware.  I’m really good at throwing things.

I’ve been to see you a few times, but quite frankly, I’m not so sure about you.  I did give you a high five but I’m not ready to sit on your lap and discuss Christmas.  Maybe next year.
