A recent blood drive held by the Anema family, of St. John’s Lutheran Church, in memory of Eli Jones, who attended SVCC, collected 56 pints of blood. This surpassed the family’s goal of wanting to collect 50 units of blood. The blood drive was held Dec. 29 at the church.
