At a recent Red Cross Bloodmobile drive, sponsored by Mount Calvary United Methodist Church, 24 pints of blood were received from participating donors. Frances Clark, of Keysville, left, was recognized for her contribution in completing 17 gallons of blood donated. Clark is the Bloodmobile’s most senior donor and was pinned by Lorena Tharpe, of Drakes Branch. Clark’s husband, Garland, had donated six gallons before he had to stop because of cancer. The next blood drive will be held on April 21 at the Drakes Branch Municipal Building from 1-6 p.m. Contact Beth Walton at (434) 568-6721 to schedule an appointment.
