Gov. Terry McAuliffe recently announced additional appointments to his administration and Ontario Hardwood Co. Inc., Resource Manager Joel L. Cathey was among them.

Cathey, of Keysville, has been appointed to serve on the Board of Forestry.

He joins Anne Beals, a retired tree farmer of Fredericksburg, and Don Bright, of Meherrin River Forest Products Inc., as newly appointed members of the board.

The appointees will join McAuliffe’s administration focused on finding common ground with members of both parties on issues that will build a new Virginia economy and create more jobs across the commonwealth, according to a recent press release.
