Randolph-Henry High School and Central Middle School have begun to announce tryout and practices dates and times for some of their fall sports.

Any R-H student interested in trying out for the 2016 golf team should report to Briery Country Club on Aug. 1 at 9 a.m. All students must have a completed Virginia High School League athletic participation form in order to try out. For more information, call Coach Kelly Powell at (434) 315-3886.

Tryouts for the R-H volleyball team will be held 5:30-8 p.m. on Aug. 1 in the Central Middle School gym. Tryouts for the middle school volleyball team will be from 3:40-5:30 p.m. on Aug. 8 at the same location. Athletes must have a completed physical in order to try out.

Physical forms are available in the Randolph-Henry and Central Middle School offices, as well as at most local doctor’s offices and clinics.

Practice for the R-H cross country team will be held 5-7 p.m. on Aug. 1 at Central Middle School. Participants need to have a completed VHSL physical to practice. For more information, call Jeff Williams at (434) 315-1552.
