Todd Garnett, of Drakes Branch, started on the pole, fended off a couple of challenges and drove to victory in the 15-lap Budweiser Hornets Division race at South Boston Speedway. It was his third win of the season.

Kenny Mills Jr., of Alton, finished second with Michael Farmer, of Halifax, Frank Wagner, of Nathalie, and Kevin Currin, of Chase City, completing the top five finishers.
