Ronald Alden King

Ronald Alden King, 70, of Chilton Road, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016, in Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the husband of Pansy Woody King.
Born in South Boston, June 14, 1946, he was a son of the late Norma Wilson and Samuel Clifton King. Ronnie was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and retired from Process Piping and Welding.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Ronnie Darrell King and wife, Kirsten, of Culpepper and Eric Clifton King of Appomattox; one brother, Samuel Raymond King and wife, Mattie, of Randolph; four grandchildren, Alyssa Goodwin, John Ross King, Willow King and Kolton Squire.
A funeral service was held 2 p.m., Saturday, August 6, 2016, at Robinson Funeral Home with the Rev. Troy McGahan officiating. Burial will follow in Reedy Spring Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family received friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m., Friday, August 5, 2016, at Robinson Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
