Mr. and Mrs. Russell Britton, of Brookneal, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Kimberly Britton to Aaron “A.J.” Robertson, son of Mr. Mike Robertson (Judy Robertson), of Concord, and Mrs. Linda Clark (Milton Clark), of Lynchburg.

Kimberly is a 2004 honor graduate of Randolph-Henry High School and a 2009 cum laude graduate of Norfolk State University with a bachelor of science degree in nursing and certificate in health services management. She is currently a Registered Nurse for Centra at Lynchburg General Hospital.

A.J. is a 1996 honor graduate of Appomattox County High School and a former sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. He is currently an asset availability leader for Georgia-Pacific in Big Island.

Kimberly is the maternal granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don Seymour, of Albany, New York, and the paternal granddaughter of the late Ernest and Sophie Pannell, of Brookneal.

A.J. is the maternal grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Bowles, of Forest, and the paternal grandson of the late Mr. James Robertson and Mrs. Marie Blackwelder (Jim Blackwelder), of Evington.

A September 2017 wedding is planned.
