Information regarding youth football and cheerleading registration in last week’s edition was incorrect due to a submission error. The Patriot Football/Cheerleading Organization is now registering boys and girls, ages 5-13, for the 2017 season. Coach Zach Orlando and football staff of Randolph-Henry High School will sponsor a camp for participants ages 5 and up July 19 and 20. Registration is Wednesday at 5 p.m. in the weight room at the high school and camp times are 6-8 p.m. each evening. Cost is $10 per participant. All future players of Statesmen football are encouraged to attend.

Football practice for the Patriots will begin the week of July 24 at the Early Learning Center in Charlotte Court House. On-site registrations will be taken for football and cheerleading. Cheerleading practice will be announced. All registrants will need to provide a copy of a current physical and a copy of their birth certificate.
