Veteran Randolph-Henry High School golfer Evan Mason, above at left, and Brenden Francisco, who will be a rising freshman at Randolph-Henry in the fall, compete during a recent Piedmont Junior Golf Tournament at the Farmville Municipal Golf Course. Mason placed second in the boys 16- and 17-year-old age division, shooting a 37. Francisco also placed in the boys 14- and 15-year-old division, shooting a 43. Mason is expected to be a returner to the Statesmen varsity golf squad that will look to continue its championship-winning ways, and Francisco plans to try out for the team.
