Safford and Charlene Breedlove, of Drakes Branch, recently donated 25 cases of water to Gleaning for the World. The donation will be used to help victims of Hurricane Harvey. We commend the Breedloves — along with the many residents, churches, businesses and nonprofit organizations — for helping those who are in need in Texas and other areas that have been affected by the storm. Gleaning for the World is a nonprofit based out of Concord and has been collecting and shipping relief supplies to individuals and families affected by Hurricane Harvey, and we thank the nonprofit for its distribution when others are in need.
