Randolph-Henry High School’s varsity girls volleyball team faced a couple of tough challenges last week, preparing it for the final week of the regular season.

The Lady Statesmen fell 3-1 to host Buckingham County High School on Tuesday after falling 3-0 to visiting Goochland High School on Thursday and losing 3-0 to host Nottoway High School on Oct. 17.

“My thoughts for this week are how proud I am of the girls for working hard and coming together,” Randolph-Henry Head Coach Nikki Elder said.

The Lady Statesmen (6-9) close the regular season Thursday at home and visit Goochland on Saturday for the district tournament.
