Phenix resident Daphne Lipscomb loves living in town and prides herself on being a positive light for others.

Lipscomb said she has been married to her husband Chad for eight years and the couple have two daughters, six year-old Avarie and four year-old Allie.

She said one of her hobbies she enjoys is running. “I have recently gotten into running, which is something I never thought I would enjoy. It is a great stress reliever and keeps me healthy. I also enjoy online shopping and playing in makeup.”

While Lipscomb said she graduated college with a degree in Psychology and currently works in the mental health field, she also owns a Younique makeup business. “I literally work from my phone and am paid to make women look and feel beautiful. It is definitely a dream job,” she said.

When it comes to her makeup business, Lipscomb said the mission is to uplift, empower, and validate women all over the world. “I try to live this daily and help women see their worth. I want them to realize their potential and live up to it. I strive daily to be the best version of myself and I want to be a positive light to others.”

When asked if she could live anywhere else in the world, Lipscomb said while she loves living in Phenix, she would choose somewhere warm near the beach.

“I have always been a beach girl and my absolute favorite place to go is the Outer Banks. I actually lived in Wilmington, North Carolina for two years,” Lipscomb said.

When it comes to making time for television, she said as a parent she often finds herself watching cartoons. “I do enjoy some reality shows, but I would never admit which ones,” joked Lipscomb.

When asked about her favorite food, Lipscomb said, “I could eat Tacos every day.”
