Seven-year-old Eli Napier, of Charlotte County, stands atop the podium at Brookville High School in Lynchburg on Saturday after winning the 55-pound weight class at the Central Virginia Youth District Tournament. He went 4-0 on the day to claim first place in a tournament that featured participants from all over the state. The runner-up from Jefferson Forest did not take the podium and the third-place wrestler, left, was from Halifax. Eli goes to Christiansburg on Saturday for another tournament.
