Get well wishes to all of the sick and shut-in. I hope you all are well soon, up and about enjoying all that life has to offer. You are in our prayers and thoughts for a speedy recovery.

Sympathy to all of the families who lost a loved one recently. Our heartfelt prayers and good wishes go out to all of you in your time of need. You have our deepest sympathy.

Thought for the week: Never beg someone for their attention. When you beg, people feel powerful, so they take control of your feelings. Sometimes we expect more from others, because we would be willing to do that much for them.

GREED

He who is greedy is always in want. Greed is a fat demon with a small mouth. Whatever you feed it is never enough. It is time for greatness, not for greed. It’s a time for idealism not ideology. It is a time not just for compassionate words, but compassionate action.

A person can have everything and still want what you and everyone else has. Now, that’s just greedy. The same way God gives you something, God can take it away. Stop trying to take something that someone said they didn’t want you to have, that is beyond greed and greedy.

Have what was given to you, not something that was by mistake. There is no fire like passion, there is no shark like hatred, there is no snare like folly, there is no torrent like greed.

The Singing Stars Gospel Singers from Saxe will be celebrating their 28th Anniversary on Sunday at 3.p.m. at Central Middle School in Charlotte Court House. Different choirs and gospel groups have been invited including the Freeman Family of Lynchburg, Blessed Few of Charlotte Court House and others. Everyone is welcome. There will be a donation at the door.
