Scattered snow and rain showers in forecast Wednesday

Snow is in the forecast for Charlotte County Wednesday, though new precipitation is expected to amount to less than a tenth of an inch, according to a report from the National Weather Service (NWS) in Blacksburg.
On Tuesday night, the NWS is calling for a slight chance of rain showers before 10 p.m., then a slight chance of rain and snow showers after 3 a.m. It’s expected to be cloudy, with a low around 34. Chance of precipitation is 20, according to the NWS.
For Wednesday, the NWS is calling for scattered rain and snow showers before 9 a.m., then scattered rain showers between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. First starting cloudy, the day is expected to gradually become mostly sunny, with a high near 42. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent.
