FEBRUARY 27
STORY AND CRAFT TIME, 11 a.m. at the J. Robert Jamerson Memorial Library, on Main Street in Appomattox. A Library employee will read an age appropriate book followed by a simple craft project. This program lasts approximately 30 minutes.
FEBRUARY 28
GAME NIGHT, 4 p.m. in the conference room of the J. Robert Jamerson Memorial Library, Appomattox. Posthumous Z, a team based zombie survival and horror game full of cheesy famous zombie movie zingers. Choose between team human and fight for your life, or team zombie to try and bring on the apocalypse. Fun, fast-paced and geared toward a more mature audience. Recommend age 13 and up to play.
MARCH 1
CHARLOTTE ADULT LEARNING CENTER EVENT, 6 p.m. at the Central Middle School cafeteria in support of Family Literacy. Spelling Bee teams may be comprised of two adults or an adult and a student. There will also be a pancake dinner. Students will be able to choose a free book to take home. Call (434) 542-5782 to register your Spelling Bee team.

STEW FUNDRAISER, 10 a.m. at Keysville Hardware. All proceeds to benefit Charlotte County students through the Retired Teachers Association. Call (434) 547-9676 to pre-order.
PHENIX DIXIE YOUTH BASEBALL SIGNUPS, 10 a.m. at Phenix Fire Department. Bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate.
SINGING, 6:30 p.m. by Michael Wayne Smith at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 6790 Saxkey, Road, Drakes Branch. Free admission. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
CALLING ALL ‘HAMS’, 10:30 a.m. The Charlotte County of Amateur Radio Club will meet at Pino’s in Keysville. We welcome all interested in amateur radio whether you are experienced or a beginner. BOOK AND AUTHOR EVENT, 3 p.m. at the old courthouse, Charlotte Court House featuring local author and historian Bill Chrystal. Hosted by The Friends of the Charlotte County Library.
DEACON AND DEACONESS ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 1303 Mt. Zion Road, Red House. Pastor William Coleman, Pastor of Crossroad Baptist Church, of Evington, along with his Choir, Ushers, and Congregation will be the guests. Lunch will be served.

YOUTH REVIVAL, 7 p.m. at Lone Oak Baptist Church, 9908 Lunenburg County Road, Keysville. Speaker for the week will be the Rev. Reginald Hurt of Charlotte Court House with a different choir each night.

SHROVE TUESDAY PANCAKE SUPPER, 5-7 p.m. at Lebanon United Methodist Church, 11135 Crafton’s Gate Hwy., Drakes Branch. Takeout available. All proceeds benefit Lebanon UMC Youth Missions.

VENDOR MEETING, 6 p.m. at the Pamplin Depo for the Pamplin Community Farmers Market. Vendors are needed for this year’s market. The market will be open every Saturday from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. starting May 18 and continuing until Oct. 12.

SPAGHETTI SUPPER, 5:30-8 p.m. at Trinity Gospel Church, 9470 Kings Hwy., U.S. Route360, Drakes Branch.

ANNUAL REVIVAL, 7 p.m. nightly at St. Michael Baptist Church in Drakes Branch. The Rev. James E. Goode, pastor of the church, will deliver the message each night. A different choir will sing each night. Everyone is welcome to attend.

MEALS ON WHEELS WINTER GALA, 6 p.m. at the SVCC Workforce Center in Keysville. Tickets may be purchased by calling the Charlotte County Meals on Wheels Office at (434) 736-8441, from any board member or at the door.

HANDBAG BINGO 2-4 p.m. at Bacon District Fire Department, Wylliesburg to benefit The Barksdale Cancer Foundation.
WOMEN, MEN DAY PROGRAM, 3 p.m. at Mt. Mitchell Baptist Church, Fort Mitchell. There will be different guest speakers. Ladies in white or beige. Everyone welcome.
MARCH 23
EUREKA COLOR RUN, 10 a.m. Register with any student or teacher at Eureka by March 1. All ages welcome. Proceeds benefit Eureka’s SOAR program.
ART SHOW OPENING RECEPTION, 6-8 p.m. at the Randolph-Henry High School Library. A meet and greet with the artists will be held and refreshments will be provided. Artwork will be for sale. Participants must be a student at Randolph-Henry. This event is sponsored by the Randolph-Henry High School Art Club and Library Club.
