Career and Technical Education Teacher (CTE) Karen Osborne recently threw out the first pitch at a Randolph-Henry High School varsity baseball game, something she was invited to do in honor of her being selected as the Faculty Member of the Month.
In conjunction with Randolph-Henry High School’s Student of the Month program, the school’s baseball program hosted its own Faculty/Staff Member of the Month program.
Each Randolph- Henry baseball player voted for a staff member that has impacted their journey at Randolph-Henry. Students also wrote comments on why the staff member they selected should earn the right to be the Staff Member of the Month.
The faculty member selected for the month of April was Osborne. In addition to being a career and technical education teacher, Osborne serves as a cheerleading coach as well as the FBLA & BLOG adviser.
Students noted that Osborne has pushed them to become better people by her example of keeping a positive attitude, staying humble and teaching students how to respect themselves.
