Herman Logan of Halifax County was the recipient of the proceeds from the inaugural Deonte M. Foster fundraiser in the amount of $8,500, which was held May 25 at the home of Ralph and Jacqueline Foster in memory of Deonte’s life. Logan is in need of a kidney transplant and is currently on the national transplant list. Deonte’s family would like to recognize everyone that helped to make this a success including family members, friends, local churches, businesses and members of the community.
