The Charlotte County Minors all-star team put together a thrilling run in the 2019 Dixie Youth Baseball Minor League District 5 Tournament but ultimately fell short of the title and its accompanying state tourney berth.

The Charlotte All-Stars finished as runners-up in the district after falling in back-to-back games to the Lunenburg County Youth Baseball League All-Stars.

After coming back from an 8-0 deficit to tie the game 8-8 in the sixth inning July 2, Charlotte lost 9-8 after Lunenburg was able to score in the bottom of the inning.

The next day, Lunenburg pulled away for an 11-1 mercy rule-abbreviated victory.
Charlotte finished the tourney with a 3-2 overall record.
