AUGUST 18-23
HOMECOMING/REVIVAL, 11 a.m. at St. Andrews Baptist Church, Cullen with pastor, the Rev. Dr. Maurice D. Finney preaching the morning service. Dinner will be served. There will be no afternoon service. Revival will begin on Monday with praise service at 7 p.m. and the regular service at 7:30 p.m. Revivalist for the week will be Elder James Holcomb, III from Alabama. Different choirs will render the music.

COMMUNITY HEALTH FAIR, 5:30 p.m. at the Estes Community Center, Chase City. Registration is recommended by calling (434) 532-8190. The event is free.
AUGUST 24
CHOIR REHEARSAL, 1 p.m. for Triumph Baptist Church Reunion Choir. All former and current choir members are welcome to participate.
FFA CAR AND TRUCK SHOW, 1-3 p.m. hosted by the The Randolph-Henry FFA Chapter at the Central Middle School Bus Court in Charlotte Court House. Car and truck entry includes a meal. There will be trophies and cash prizes for class winners and door prizes for participants.
AUGUST 25
HOMECOMING/152ND CHURCH ANNIVERSARY, 10:45 a.m. beginning with praise and testimonial service, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 1303 Mt. Zion Road, Red House. Praise and worship service at 11:15 a.m. Lunch will be served.
HOMECOMING, 11:30 a.m. at Galilee Baptist Church, Randolph. Dinner will be served.
CHOIR ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. of the male chorus of the Antioch Baptist Church, Keysville. Many groups will be appearing on the program. Come out for an evening of good gospel music.
AUGUST 25-28
HOMECOMING/REVIVAL, 11 a.m. at Salem Baptist Church, 4050 Salem School Road, Red Oak. Pastor, the Rev. Roger Lee Allen, will be bringing the word and the Salem Baptist Church Mass Choir will be rendering the music. Revival will be held Monday-Wednesday with praise and worship at 7 p.m. with theme, “Dry bones come alive for the work of the Lord.” Guest revivalist each night. Everyone is welcome.
HOMECOMING/REVIVAL, 11 a.m. at Triumph Baptist Church with the Rev. James W. Morris and the Triumph Baptist Church Reunion Choir directed by Minister Sybil Franklin Jones. Dinner will be served. Revival will be held nightly on Aug. 26-28. Prayer and praise at 7 p.m. and revival at 7:30 p.m. Elder Alfred L. Jones, III, pastor, of the Jesus Center Church in Appomattox will be the guest preacher accompanied by a guest choir nightly. Everyone is welcome. The church is located on the Darlington Heights Road in Prince Edward County.

HOMECOMING/REVIVAL, 11:30 a.m. at St. Louis Baptist Church, Charlotte Court House with Pastor Henry L. Fleshman, Jr. The senior choir will render the music. Revival will be held Monday-Friday, 7 p.m. nightly with guest the Rev. Samuel F. Trent, pastor of Morison Grove Baptist Church. Prayer and praise will begin at 7 p.m. Music provided by different choirs each night. Everyone welcome.

INTRO TO COMPUTERS FOR ADULTS, 4-6 p.m. at the Charlotte Adult Learning Center, Charlotte Court House. You’ll learn the basics of computing, including intro to certain helpful tools. COMMUNITY FUN DAY, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Emmanuel Bible Church, 401 Southern Drive, Keysville. Let’s all come together as a community and get to know one another. Great fellowship and fun for everyone in the Lord. Attractions include inflatables, cake walk, music, food, indoor and outdoor games and more. Come on out for good Christian fun.

WINE FESTIVAL, 1-7 p.m. hosted by the Barksdale Cancer Foundation at the historic Gil-Har House in Phenix. Entertainment will be provided by the Stoney Ridge Band of Keysville and Public Consumption from Halifax.
