In celebration of Grandparents’ Day, Eureka kindergarteners invited their grandparents to school on Sept. 6 for a picnic lunch. An added bonus to the festivity was the students dressing in their favorite nursery rhyme character. The children were so excited to have their special loved ones come and visit. Each year, the kindergarten program celebrates Grandparents’ Day on the Friday prior to the holiday. This year, approximately 75 grandparents joined their grandchildren for a sunny lunch.
