The Museum of Charlotte County sponsored a celebration of Charlotte County’s Arts, Crafts, and Rural Heritage on Saturday, Oct. 26.

The event was held on the Courthouse Square and included living history demonstrations, indoor and outdoor exhibits, children’s activities, performances and live music.

The interior of the historic courthouse displayed an exhibit of art by local students and a Grandma’s Chores tent. Here young people learned how to churn butter, knead dough, cut biscuits, wash clothes with a tub and washboard, plus try their hand at other once routine tasks.

The Central Middle School FFA Chapter was on hand to educate the public on the many actives of the organization.
