Former Randolph-Henry High School standout and University of Virginia senior wide receiver and kick return specialist Joe Reed has been named one of four finalists for the Paul Hornung Award, announced the Louisville Sports Commission on Thursday, Nov. 14, a U.Va. The 17-person Paul Hornung Award National Selection Committee chose the finalists, with fans generating the 18th vote online, the release continued. The 2019 Paul Hornung Award winner will be chosen from among the finalists and announced Wednesday, Dec. 11.
The release noted that fan voting for the winner continues through Dec. 8 at www.louisvillesports. org/paul-hornung/ award-poll/ and will again count as the 18th vote.
