Mr. and Mrs. Harold M. Harris, Jr. of Rice, Virginia are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Elizabeth Ann to David Dean Chenette, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Chenette of Clifton, Virginia. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Lola Easter of Amelia and the late Roy Mountcasel and Gayle Harris of Abilene and the late Harold Harris. The groom-to-be is the grandson of Dean Clingman of Seattle, Washington and the late Beryl Clingman and the late Richard and Harriet Chenette.

Elizabeth is a graduate of Amelia County High School and George Mason University. She is employed with Virginia Eye Institute in Richmond, Virginia. David is a graduate of Ad Fontes Academy and will graduate this spring from George Mason University. He is employed with Northrop Grumman in Chantilly, Virginia.

A July 2020 wedding is planned.
