Charlotte County votes overwhelmingly for Biden

Charlotte County’s election results from Tuesday’s Democrat Presidential Primary went overwhelmingly for Joe Biden. The former vice-president received almost 72% of the vote.
Biden’s 702 votes handily defeated Bernie Sanders who finished second with 127 votes, 13%. Michael Bloomberg, who spent $18 million in advertising money in Virginia alone, was third with 86 votes, 8.8%.
Bloomberg ended his candidacy Wednesday morning after a disappointing Super Tuesday showing.
The state-wide results gave Biden a large victory with 53% of the vote. Sanders was second with 23%. Warren was third with 10.8% and Bloomberg was fourth with 9.7% of the vote.
