Silver places third in art contest

Randolph-Henry, senior, Emma Silver placed third at the Southern Regional Student Art Contest. Her work of art is titled “Little Sister” and was created using prismacolor colored pencils, crayola markers, and gray watercolor for the background. Silver attends the Governor’s School of Southside Virginia and is a member of the BETA Club. She has been a member of the Art Club for three years and a track athlete for three years. She most recently participated in theatre this year as a set designer. Silver has been doing portraiture since eighth grade. In the fall of 2020, Silver will attend the College of William and Mary with a full tuition academic Scholarship. Her major will be economics and business.
