Thomas Thompson, a resident of Drakes Branch, was recognized Friday, July 24, as being a member of Charlotte Lodge #146 Prince Hall Free & Accepted Masons for 50 consecutive years. 

Calvin Watson, worshipful master of Charlotte Lodge #146 made the presentations to Thompson. Rev. James Spencer, senior warden offered prayer. Thompson received a 50-year pin and a certificate.
