One person was killed in a multi-vehicle crash near Highway 59 and Ingleside Lane Thursday night.

The crash, which happened at 10:55 p.m., involved a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle.

The Virginia State Police Appomattox Crash Reconstruction Team responded to the scene to assist with the crash investigation.
