SUPPORT GROUP – The Alzheimer’s Association is hosting a Caregiver Support Group Thursday, Sept. 3 from 2 to 3 p.m. Register by calling 1-800-272-3900.

SEPTEMBER 5

YARD SALE – A yard sale to benefit the Barksdale Cancer Foundation will be held Saturday, September 5 at the Phenix Pavilion from 8 a.m.-until. Numerous families included in the sale, Household items, adult and children’s clothing, shoes, linens, books, canning jars, toys and lots more.

SEPTEMBER 6

AMATEUR RADIO MEETING – The Charlotte County Amateur Radio Club will meet at the Keysville Fire Station located at 500 Osbourne St behind Burger King at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6.

SEPTEMBER 8

BLOOD DRIVE – A blood drive will be held Tuesday, September 8 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Midway Baptist Church, 2595 Midway Road, Phenix. Appointments are encouraged.

BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEET – The Charlotte County Board of Supervisors regular meeting scheduled for Monday, Sept. 14 has been changed to Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 5 p.m. in the board room at the County Administration Office.

BEAUTIFUL PLAIN BAPTIST – Beautiful Plain Baptist Church will hold services the second and fourth Sundays at 11 a.m. at Beautiful Plain Baptist Church, Charlotte Court House until further notice.

HEBRON UNITED METHODIST – Hebron United Methodist Church in Saxe will hold in-person services at 9:45 a.m. until further notice. Masks are required to attend.

LEBANON UNITED METHODIST – Until further notice Lebanon UMC on Crofton’s Gate Highway in Drakes Branch will be holding in-person worship at 11 a.m. on the first and third Sundays of the month. Masks are required to attend.

CHARLOTTE COURTHOUSE UNITED METHODIST – Until further notice Charlotte Courthouse UMC will be holding in-person services at 10 a.m. on the second and fourth Sundays of the month. Masks are required to attend. Services will also be broadcast on Facebook Live.
