Anita’s Homestyle Cooking in Drakes Branch held its grand opening Saturday, Oct. 24. The new restaurant is owned by Anita Blackwell and located in the former Lil Debbie’s restaurant building. Blackwell said she chose Drakes Branch as her restaurant’s location because she wanted to bring something different to the area. Anita’s Homestyle Cooking will be offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a variety of food and daily specials.
