To the Editor:

Over the past several weeks we have heard “Vote yes for Schools on Nov 3.” And yes, you should vote yes.

We need to ensure our children are provided with a quality education in facilities that are up to date. They need to feel safe in their learning environment. The school-aged children in Charlotte County spend the majority of their day in the school facilities. Many renovations have already been performed; but we can be certain, more will be needed over time. It’s a 1% usage tax. It will be paid by all. It will benefit all of the children in the county. Let’s all do our part to help these children be their best by voting yes on Nov. 3.
