Distribution of USDA Food boxes, along with food purchased with donations from Mt. Zion and Providence Baptist Church, will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Red House from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.  Saturday, Dec. 19 for those in the Phenix and surrounding Red House community.

If there is snow or ice, the distribution will be canceled and  boxes will be given out the next Saturday.

Guests may receive USDA food at only one site in Virginia. Please bring a large cardboard box and identification. For questions, call Bernice Pannell at (434) 248-6465 after 5 p.m. and before 8 p.m.
