Hamlett honored for 50 years of service
The Drakes Branch Volunteer Fire and Rescue (DBVFD) honored member Clarence Hamlett for 50 years of service to the department. In addition to being a member of the DBVFD, Hamlett is also a member of the town council. “Clarence is one of many that make our department what it is today, and we thank him for his time and commitment to his community,” DBVFD Chief Kenny Tharpe said.
