Francisco, Queensberry compete in state golf tourney

Brenden Francisco and Austin Queensberry of Randolph-Henry High School qualified for the VHSL 2A Golf State Championship Monday, April 19, at the Pete Dye River Course in Blacksburg. Francisco finished in a tie for eighth place with an 82. Austin finished tied for 22nd with an 89. Coach Eddie Pyle said the two were a big part of the Statesmen success this year. Francisco has been a leader for the Statesmen the past four years. Queensberry will return next year to help lead the Statesmen once again.
