Team participates at Virginia Beef Expo

The Randolph-Henry FFA cattle working team placed 10th at the State Cattle Working Contest held at the Virginia Beef Expo Friday, April 16. Nearly 60 teams competed to earn the right to participate at the Virginia Beef Expo. The team placed second at the Southern Piedmont Cattle Working contest held at Adams and Adams farm in Red Oak. Team members had to process cattle by administering vaccines, wormer and identification tags while following Beef Quality Assured (BQA) procedures. The team had to complete a processing map and (BQA) paperwork along with a beef cattle management problem solving activity. From left are Devin Letterman, Mason Hamlett, and Hannah Geesaman.
