The Drakes Branch Farmer’s Market will open for its sixth season under the pavilion Friday, May 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The market offers local produce and products to the citizens of Charlotte County and surrounding areas. 

Vendors that are scheduled are as follows: 

Long Ears Herbs – lotions, lip balms and a variety of other items 

Goldman Farms –  a variety of vegetables and flowers 

Wildwood Berry and Produce – a variety of vegetables and flowers 

Baking the World a Better Place – homemade goodies 

Hazel Bowman Smith – Avon products 

Charlotte County Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners  – host plants and other garden plants 

Brenda Seamster – silver jewelry 

Winifred (Wendy) Dunn – handmade wreaths and décor 

Sevina Craighead – crafts and 31 products 

Marilyn Jones – cinnamon buns and yeast rolls  

The market will be open every Friday from 10 a.m to 2 p.m. through the month of September. 

Vendors may vary from week-to-week except for vegetable producers.
