After taking a year off due the COVID-19 pandemic, the 100-Mile Yard Sale returned Saturday, July 3, with its first ever location in Drakes Branch.
Shoppers eager to find deals, sellers cleaning out their attics and fund raising events by local organizations could all be seen throughout the town.
The yard sale route crisscrossed the region, passing through Amelia, Charlotte, Mecklenburg, Nottoway and Prince Edward counties, bringing in visitors from across Virginia, the southeastern United States and beyond.
According to many business owners along the route, in the past, the day of the 100-Mile Yard Sale is one of the busiest days of the year for their businesses.
