To The Editor:
Concerning the reinstatement of seven days per week opening of the convenient centers I thought I’d add my thoughts.
I never understood why they ever had to be manned in the first place when they were open. This is just an unnecessary expense and then limits when they are open.
Campbell County doesn’t man their centers and it has worked out fine. On a related topic; It is long overdue that Charlotte County step up to the plate and start recycling plastics. This is one of the largest components of our waste stream as so much is packaged and/or made of plastics.
