The Charlotte County Darlings represented Virginia in the 2021 Dixie Softball World Series held in Prince George July 24-27.  Unfortunately, the local Darlings suffered two losses and were eliminated Sunday.  The team lost to South Carolina, the reigning World Series Champions, 20-8, and then came up short against Georgia, 19-16.  The team finished the season as the undefeated district and state champions.
