Accident leaves two injured

The Virginia State Police (VSP) is investing a single vehicle accident that left two females seriously injured on Saturday, July 31. According to VSP Public Relations Director Corinne N. Geller, the crash occurred around 7:35 a.m. in the 100 block of Thomas Jefferson Highway in the town limits of Charlotte Court House. A Chevrolet pickup truck ran off the road and struck a tree. The driver of the pickup and one passenger were extricated from the vehicle by the Charlotte Court House Fire Department and airlifted to MCV. As of press time, VSP had not released the names of those involved.
