Students graduate from Power Line Worker program

Chandler Giacherio, Hunter Gibson, Chandler Newcomb and Bryan Williams, all former Charlotte County graduates, recently completed the Southside Virginia Community College Power Line Worker Training Program Aug. 19. Giacherio, Newcomb and Williams are graduates of Randolph-Henry High School, and Gibson is a graduate of Fuqua School.
The 11-week program provides both classroom and hands-on training in safety, climbing techniques, electrical theory, aerial framing, rigging, operating utility service equipment and commercial drivers’ license training.
