Howard Amos Scott, 67 of Pamplin, passed away on Sept. 28, in Lynchburg.
He is survived by his parents, Margaret and William Scott Sr., of Charlotte County; daughters, Tiffany LaShay Scott and Tysha Maretta Scott, both of Appomattox; five grandchildren, Ashonti Scott, Armare’a Wood, Ashley Christian, Khi’yan Williams and Kali Franklin, all of Appomattox; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Catherine Scott-Tune of Lynchburg; four brothers, Fillmore Scott (Alma) of Appomattox, James Scott of Northern Virginia, Alonzo Scott of Norfolk and William Scott, Jr. of Lynchburg; Shameka McCoy, whom he loved like a daughter and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Oct. 2, at 1 p.m., at the Jeffress Funeral Home Brookneal chapel with interment in the White Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Phenix.
