U.S. History students from Mrs. Williams’ class participated in a station activity highlighting John F. Kennedy artifacts, collectibles and memorabilia from Mrs. Joyner’s personal collection. Topics included the President’s WWII experience, the election of 1960, major Cold War events, the JFK assassination and civil rights. Artifacts included campaign buttons, magazines, an inaugural invitation, record player and JFK memorial album and a replica of the coconut paperweight that sat on President Kennedy’s Oval Office desk.
