Students learn about cooking in military
On Thursday, Nov. 4, students at Randolph-Henry participated in an MRE prep class during their enrichment time. SSG Justin Hayward with the US Army National Guard collaborated with Chef Engelhorn to create a fun activity on how to make a meal from an MRE prepackaged food pack. Students were given specific ingredients, limited time, and were judged by criteria such as appearance and taste. This exciting contest created an opportunity for students to hear more about joining the military.
