The parents of the Randolph-Henry Senior Class hosted a Senior Car Parade on Saturday, May 6.
The parade started at Southside Virginia Community College and ended at the Randolph-Henry student parking lot.
Superintendent Dr. Robbie Mason, principal Erin Davis, and assistant principals Christopher Holt and Mary Jane Cook delivered speeches.
Students who attended the parade received a door prize and a t-shirt with the customized theme “You should have seen it in color.”
The parade, attended by about 25 seniors, concluded with the students and staff setting off colored powder cannons.
According to Holly Skelton, an organizer of the event, this year’s theme was centered on the idea of living life in color, being present in the moment, and creating lasting memories.
