Another school year has come to an end and the Randolph-Henry High School (RHHS) Class of 2023 has walked across the stage, graduated, and is ready to set out into the world.
On Saturday, May 20, RHHS held a graduation ceremony for its senior class.
“When you walk across the stage you will hold in your hands a document that records the successful completion of a four-year-long journey,” RHHS Principal Erin Davis told students. “Being a Randolph-Henry High School alumni is something that I hope you will always be proud of.”
Davis went on to tell the graduating class that college, the workplace, and even the military will require the same level of consistent effort which they put forth at RHHS.
“Success means different things to everyone,” David said. “ Whether your goal is to be a successful parent or a brave soldier, or you seek to climb the corporate ladder, keep your focus on the smaller task that lay the foundation for your larger goals.”
The Class of 2023 also heard from its Valedictorian and Salutation.
Kathryn Grace Hamilton was named the valedictorian for the Class of 2023 with a GPA of 4.57. She is the daughter of Anne and Brian Hamilton of Cullen.
Misha Lashae’ Clark has been named the salutatorian for the Class of 2023 with a GPA of 4.55. She is the daughter of NaTasha and RaShawn Clark of Drakes Branch.
