The Bank of Charlotte County opened its newest branch in Drakes Branch on April 3 at 4767 Main Street.

To celebrate the opening, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held on April 20, followed by a reception inside the branch. Local officials, bank leadership, customers and others were in attendance.

The Drakes Branch Office is the fifth full-service branch in The Bank of Charlotte County’s network. The Bank also operates Loan Production offices in Farmville, Forest, South Boston, and South Hill. In addition to its traditional loan and deposit products the Bank offers investment, mortgage, insurance, and title insurance as well as online, mobile, and telephone banking services providing customers with 24/7 account access.

In addition to his duties as the branch manager of the Keysville branch, Austin Agee will manage the new branch. Other staff include Lana Tharpe, Michelle Kole, and Vicki Hudson, all well-seasoned, experienced bankers.
