The following Randolph-Henry High School students competed at the 97th VA FFA Convention recently.

The results are as follows:

• Agriculture Mechanics — State Champion Team with the opportunity to compete at the National FFA Convention in November. Team members include: Colby Cary, Mason Hamlett, Daschal Pettus and Jay Duffey.

• Vet Science — Runner Up Team. Team members include: Emily Tharpe (2nd), Emily Geesaman (3rd), Jasmine Palmer (10th), and Madison Irving

• Agronomy — Runner Up Team. Team members include: Ben Geesaman (1st), Dani Davis (2nd), Rebekah Sanderson (4th), and Adyson Metts (6th)

• Floriculture — 5th Place Team. Team members include: Ruby Ramsey (8th), Hadley Coffey, Haleigh Evans, and Zoey Walker.

• SR Prepared Public Speaking — Rebekah Sanderson State Champion. Rebekah will compete at the National FFA Convention in November!

• JR Prepared Public Speaking — Autumn Hatcher Southeast Area Winner

• Livestock Judging — Team members include: Olivia Gullet, Kayla Hylton and Kaylee Pillow

• State Degree Recipients — Crisstina Hailey, Jay Duffey and Daschal Pettus
