Russell Foster, 91 of Randolph, passed away on June 26, in Lynchburg. He was the son of the George Nathan Foster and Mollie Bell Freeman Foster.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lona and two sons, Jerome and Jeffrey.

He leaves to cherish his memory, a devoted daughter, Lisa Hamlette (Donald) of Madison Heights; two sons, Jonathan Foster (Hilda) of Randolph and Jerry Foster (Linda) of Saxe; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one brother, Ralph E. Foster (Barbara) of Randolph; one daughter-in-law, Pauline Foster of Richmond; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services were held on Friday, June 30, at 1 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Foster Family Cemetery in Randolph. Condolences may be expressed at http://www.JeffressFuneralHome.com.
